She was a lifelong resident of Madison County, born April 1, 1930, daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Brewer Ingram, a homemaker, retired Berea College employee, member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, former Commander of the DAV Auxiliary and past President of Silver Creek Homemakers. Survivors include her husband Jack Cairell of Berea; 5 children, Frances Hatton of Berea, Larry (Ada) Damrell of Whitesburg, Wesley (Stella Mason) Damrell of Berea, Sharon (Steven) Hunt of Carrollton, Scott (Rita) Damrell of Turner Station; 5 brothers and sisters, Rebecca Alcorn, Buck Ingram, Roy Ingram, all of Berea, Maggie Shearer of Lexington, George Ingram of Carrollton; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, Tuesday Corman; and 3 sisters, Bessie Ingram, Dessie Ingram, Mary Adams. Funeral service 3:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2006 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Bro. Roy Himes officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation after 7:00 PM Thursday at the church. Reppert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, granddaughters, great grandsons, and great granddaughters. |
