He was a native of Rockcastle County, a retired custodian at Eastern Kentucky University and a member of the Flat Gap Baptist Church. Mr. Cain is survived by: wife, Sarah Margaret Mullins Cain of Berea; sons, James Michael (Mitzi) Cain of Science Hill, Kenton Lyle (Darlene) Cain of Berea; step sons, Joe Wren of Berea, Jessie Wren of Liberty and Paul Wren of Paint Lick; daughers, Etta (Keith) Leger of Orlando, Ky., Marla (David) Alexander of Dayton, Oh; step daughters, Rosa Lee Langley of Indianapolis, In., Flossie Cain of Berea, Lola McBride of McKee and Arlene Hurst of Richmond; brother, Carroll (Joyce) Cain of Berea; sisters, Bessie Gadd and Dorothy Cain both of Mt. Vernon. 12 grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Cain will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funral home. |
