Owens Home for Funerals Chapel Interment: Cable - Albright Cemetery Mr. Troy Cable, age 76, husband of Elva, of Alexander Rd, Somerset, Ky. passed away Thurs. December 7, 2006 at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, KY, a son of the late Fred and Betty Cable. He was a farmer and a 38 year retiree of the Stearns & Foster Co. in Cincinnati, Oh. He was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church of Cincinnati, OH. He served his country during the Korean War as an Army Corporeal. His hobbies and interest include hunting, and his grandchildren. He was united in holy matrimony to Elva B. Arthur on Dec. 5th, 1955 and from that union came seven children-Roger, Ronnie, Rick, Ray, Robby, Randy and Robin. Those left to mourn his passing include his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Elva Cable of Somerset, KY; seven children- Roger L. Cable and wife Penny of Metamora, IN.; Ronnie Cable of Cincinnati, OH; Rick Cable and wife Connie of Somerset, KY; Ray Cable and wife Carolyn of Somerset, KY; Robby Cable and wife Brenda of Somerset, KY.; Randy Cable and wife Stephanie of Somerset, KY; and Robin Michelle Dykes and husband Kevin of Somerset, KY; fifteen grandchildren-Damion Troy Cable, Destiny Marie Everett; Josh Cable, Misty Cable, Jeremy Nathan Cable; Natasha Delle Hewitt, Christopher Cable; Nicholas Cable; Kristy Jones; Mandy Cable; Brooke Cable; Kellie Gayle Cable; Jessica Lynn Cable; Austin & Lindsey Dykes. Twelve great grandchildren; two sisters-Iva Robbinson and husband Kenneth of Cincinnati, OH; Violet Norman and husband Richard of Sarasota, FL.; and special friend Tom and Norma Lee and L.E. Prewitt; as well as a host of nieces/nephews and many friends to numerous to mention. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-Charles Cable and two sisters-Vera Lock and Vivian Carrier. Visitation for Mr. Troy Cable will be Sat. Dec. 9, 2006 from 5P-8P at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead and Sunday Dec. 10, 2006 from 10A-2PM prior to services. Funeral services will be conducted Sun. Dec. 10, 2006 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Bernard Arthur officiating; burial will follow in the Cable-Albright Cemetery.
