| Alfred Bicknell (October 10, 1926 - December 3, 2006) Alfred Bicknell, 80, of Dreyfus Road, Waco, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006, at his home under the tender care of Hospice Care Plus. He was born in Madison County, KY on October 10, 1926, to the late Fred and Bessie Baker Bicknell. He was a retired truck driver for the Madison County Road Department and was a member of the Baptist faith, serving as an ordained deacon of the former Bark Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gracie Rose Bicknell; two sons, Paul R. (Debra) Bicknell of Waco and Cecil E. (Debra) Bicknell of Richmond; two brothers, Douglas (Margaret) Bicknell and Darrell (Ramona) Bicknell, both of Waco; two sisters, Mamie (Harold) Ruble of Waco and Wanda (Harold) Mason of Richmond, as well as 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ailene Lamb and Joyce Cates. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. James Chrisman officiating. Burial will follow at the Bark Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell.
