Vernon, KY. She was born in Rockcastle County, KY on August 14, 1920, the daughter of James and Mary Mink. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. Mrs. Barron also loved to quilt, garden and fish. She is survived by three children, Dean Barron and Nettie Carr and Bobby and Bonnie Barron, all of Brodhead and Darlene F. and Alan Saunders of Crab Orchard, KY; one son-in-law, Mark Stratton of Brodhead; one daughter-in-law, Margie Barron of Brodhead; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Barron; a son, Thurnie Barron; two daughters, Betty Barron and Claudina Stratton; seven brothers; and five sisters. |
