CRAB ORCHARD - Services for Willie Allen, 74, of Crab Orchard, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Red Hill Church in Livingston by Don King. Burial will be in Red Hill Church Cemetery.

He died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Born May 16, 1930, in Rockcastle County, he was the son of the late Albert and Delia Angel Allen. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Crab Orchard Pentecostal Church. He was the widower of Wanda Ray Allen.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Johnson of Franklin, Maine, and Loretta Wood of Deland, Fla.; two sons, Steve Allen of Crab Orchard and Jim Allen of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Edna Hiter of Harrodsburg, Marie Tomlinson and Jane Dye, both of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Eddie and Ira Allen, both of Crab Orchard; longtime companion, Rose Gaither of Crab Orchard; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James E. Brooks, Dwayne Allen, Junior Allen, Bobby Stamp, Josh Lewis and Tim Conner.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at McKnight Funeral Home.
