Jan 22, 2005. She was a life long resident of Madison County born Sept. 29, 1923, daughter of the late William Frank and Malinda Settles Pigg. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include 11 children: Jack (Marie) Agee, Peggy (James) Short, Rozella (Bradley) Montgomery, Brady (Loretta) Agee, Homer (Verna) Agee, Bonnie (Bobby) Richmond, Carolyn (Keith) Short, Sharon (Kenneth) Short, Kenneth (Marlena) Agee, Wanda (Wayne) Short, Tammy Cummins; 1 sister, Ruth Mayes; a very special friend, Lilly Robinson; 24 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Cloud Agee; 1 sister, Helen Parker; 1 son in law, Earl Cummins. Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Davis, Rev. Billy Long, Rev. Cecil Burns, and Rev. Roy Himes officiating. Burial will follow in Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation Monday, Jan. 24, 2005 after 6:00 PM at the church. Pallbearers will be Buddy Montgomery, Michael Short, Greg Short, Scott Short, Jimmy Short, Chad Short, Daniel Agee, Josh Agee, Stacey Richmond, Robbie Richmond, Craig Richmond, Ricky Hembree. Honorary Pallbearers will be the nursing staff of The Terrace South Wing, James Parker, Vernon Parker, Vester Parker, Harold Parker, Steve Parker, Roger Parker, Jerry Parker, Ronnie Parker, Donnie Parker, Ed Mayes, Jim Ed West, Wayne Robinson.
