Owens Home for Funerals and Sunday, February 26th, 2006 - 1-2 P.M. at Hickory Grove Free Pentecostal Church Funeral Service: Sunday, February 26th, 2006 - 2 P.M. at the Hickory grove Free Pentecostal Church Interment: Saylor Cemetery Mr. Harley Herbert Adams, age 86, husband of Alma Adams, of Brodhead, passed away Thursday, February 23rd, 2006. He was born on March 21, 1919 a son of the late James Logan and Elsie Soard Adams. He was a member and trustee of Hickory Grove Free Pentecostal Church. His hobbies and interest include farming and his church. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. On January 26, 1942 he was united in holy matrimony to Alma A. Mink and from that union came three children-Harley Randal, James Tommy and Gary Dwain. Those left to mourn his passing include his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Alma Adams of Brodhead; his children- Harley Randal Adams and wife Thelma of Brodhead; James Tommy Adams and wife Doris of Mt. Vernon; Gary Dwain Adams and wife Janice of Brodhead. Five grand-children-Scott Randal Adams and wife Angela, Jonathan Lee Adams and wife Breanna, Daphne Priscilla Adams, Heather Nicole Adams and Brittany Anne Adams. Two great grandchildren-Charity Brooke Adams and Destiny Hope Adams; One sister-Betty June Hedrick of Indianapolis, IN and Nieces, Nephews, Church family and Friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Everette Soard, Ora Adams, Joe Adams, Lewis Adams and Carl Adams, one sister, Martha Helton. Visitation for Mr. Harley Herbert Adams will be Saturday, February 25th, 2006 from 6-9P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, in Brodhead, KY. and Sunday, February 26th, 2006 from 1-2 P.M. at the Hickory Grove Free Pentecostal Church in Brodhead, KY. Funeral Services will be Sunday, February 26th, 2006 at 2P.M. at the Hickory Grove Free Pentecostal Church with Bros. Doug Webb, Darrell Ragan, and Scott Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery. |
