Owens Home for Funerals Chapel Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery Mr. Charles Douglas "Doug" Adams, age 73, of Brodhead, Ky., passed away Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born on July 17, 1933 in Brodhead, Ky. a son of the late Arthur Wright and Orla Lee Ponder Adams. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, and a farmer; who enjoyed bingo, and cross word puzzles. Those left to mourn his passing include his brother, Earl P. Adams (Myrtle) of Brodhead, Ky.; two sisters-Delcia Maynus (James) of Hamilton, Ohio and Lena Proctor (Charles) of Hamilton, Ohio; as well as a host of neices/nephews, friends and neighbors, and special friends Willie Leece and David Brock. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers-Claude, Herbert, and George Adams; Visitation for Mr. Doug Adams will be Sunday, November 19. 2006 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 20, 2006 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Chad Burdette officiating; burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. |
