Funeral Service: Saturday March 25, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home Interment: Berea Cemetery Mitchell Abrams age 81 of Bud Clark Rd. Mt. Vernon died Wednesday March 22, 2006 at the Terrace Nursing Home. Mitchell was born in Jackson County to the late Lawrence and Annie Johnson Abrams. In addition to his parents, Mitchell was also preceded in death by 4 brothers Arnold, Mart, Walter and Lynn Abrams and one sister Norma Jane Croucher. Mitchell is survived by his wife Lucy Davidson Abrams of Mt. Vernon; three children: Wannetta (Jack) Leach of East Bernstadt, Barbara (Albert) Leach of Louisville and Dianne (Lawrence) Darnell of Frankfort, KY; two sisters Delia Bell Adams of Dayton, OH and Opal (Joey) Loeser of Louisville, KY; two brothers Dewey (Theda) Abrams of Somerville, OH and Ola Abrams of Louisville, KY and four grandchildren Melody and Jeremy Leach and Megan and Blake Darnell. Funeral services will be Saturday March 25, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 24, 2006 from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home. |
