New Years at the Dumas's

I remember that the Dumas's always had lot of home made tamales during the
holiday season. Often, we neighborhood kids would be invited over to try 
them. I especially liked the sweet ones. I remember one party where the older
kids talked one of the younger ones into eating some of those hot chili's.
They looked like raisins, so he was told they were raisins. Somehow he failed
to see the humor of the situation.
