The Mascot When Larry lived at this house [Robinson house on Berendo] there was a little play house in the side yard. We called it our club house.  One day we found a dead cat on Imperial Highway. We thought he would make a neat mascot for the club house, so we shoveled him into a box and deposited him on a shelf in the shed.  Needless to say, he soon got very ripe. We used to hold our noses and run in and look at the decomposing cat with the toothy grin. (Would that be a grim grin)? It wasn't too many days before Larry's mom caught a wiff and made us dispose or the cat.  - Alex Magdaleno
