McBride House Recollections

The house that sat where this church was later built at the corner of 112th and Budlong - was formerly occupied by the McBride family. This was about 1938-9 when Raymond was born. They had 9 children. Daughter Cheryl was eldest, a pretty teenager. We kept in touch for many years. I don't remember the name of the family that lived there just before the church was built. I just remember that they disapproved of card playing, and asked Marla not to bring cards to their house!
