A Recollection of Johnny's Shed

I remember Johnny's  shed in the back yard. It was that mysterious place 
where the big boys played. Johnny had a buzz coil that made one volt into 
thousands, as many a sucker found out. It was also good for lighting small 
fluorescent bulbs and electrocuting bugs. I have a fuzzy memory of a  very 
sensitive microphone that would pick up the  noise of ants walking? Anyone 
remember that one?  The kids built a lookout on the top of the shed with 
access from the inside. Yuli's shed was across the yard.  It was neat and 
clean and not much fun. we mostly used it to lure each other inside and then 
slam door and hold  them in.  I don't think any of us fell for that more 
than once.
