Who are we? We attended the Compere
Community School in Jones County, Texas. Our picture was
taken about the late 1930's. Another class posed for a photo in the early 1940's. Our identities have
been lost in the last century. An Aunt or Uncle, Brother or Sister, Grandmother or Grandfather,
do you recognize us? Perhaps one of us is your cousin once removed or your next door neighbor.
All that remains of our community is a cemetery. Please help us find our names.
