Mrs. Amanda S. Wonacott, died at the Santa Rosa home of her [step-]daughter Mrs. Emma Christian, June 6, 1935. A native of Tennessee, she was 85.
Her husband, Rev. Wonacott, died in 1899. In 1901 she came to Willits and in 1923 went to Fort Bragg. Four sons, E.E. Wonacott of Manteca, Luther Wonacott of Santa Rosa, Ken Wonacott of Willits, H.H. Wonacott of Fort Bragg, two
daughters, Mrs. Emma Christian of Santa Rosa and Mrs. O.O. Butcher of Willits, survived.
The funeral was in Fort Bragg June 9th led by Rev. C.C. Huthnance of Lakeport.
Burial was in Rose Memorial Park.
