Talley's Corner

Bed & Breakfast

Over 100 years ago, the Joseph Cosgrove House was built on Fairmount Hill in Marlborough, MA. and to this day it is considered one of the best preserved examples of Queen Anne architecture in the area. Its complex massing gives each side of the house a different character. The wrap around facade porch is supported by Tuscan columns and provides a panoramic view of the city while the rear deck with its inviting gazebo offers solace from the outside world.

Inside, the home has been lovingly restored and feels like a breath of Victorian fresh air. The spacious rooms with high ceilings, oversized windows (including stained glass), ornate oak and walnut woodwork, pocket doors, brass hardware and hardwood floors with Oriental rugs are creatively appointed with antiques and collectible from around the world. The guest quarters with private bath contain all the modern conveniences while reflecting a simpler time of leisure, lavender and lace.
