Matthew Chambers's co., Lieut. Col. Calvin Smith's (6th) regt.; returns for wages for the years 1781 and 1782; wages allowed said Wyman from July 7, 1781, to May 17, 1782, 10 mos. 12 days; reported died May 17, 1782; also, order on Capt. Benjamin Heywood, Agent, 6th Mass. regt., payable to Samuel Wyman, son of said Wyman, dated Concord, Sept. 16, 1784, signed by Mary Wyman, for wages, etc., due her late husband, said Samuel Wyman, for service in 6th Mass. regt.; certificate on reverse of order, dated Concord, Oct. 4, 1784, signed by one of the Selectmen, certifies that Mary Wyman was the widow, and Patty Brigham, Millicent Tower, Samuel Wyman, Oliver Cromwell Wyman, and Jonathan Wyman, the children and heirs of said Samuel Wyman, deceased; receipt dated Oct. 5, 1784, signed by Samuel Wyman, for the contents of above mentioned order also appears on reverse.
