It should be noted that these were loans for money and personal property
was put up for collateral. Some may appear to be "sale of goods', however at the
end of each Mortgage is a statement regarding the paying back and the interest imposed.
I only list the property, name of deptor, lender, date and amount. These are but a few written.MORTGAGES

On October 9, 1851 Charles D. Bigelow of Brooklyn in the County Kings State of New York in consideration of $54 paid to him by Patty Howe Widow grant and convey the following
a certain Pew in the meeting house in the West Parrish the same Pew formerly owned and occupied by Gershom Bigelow late of said Marlborough deceased and which was conveyed to me by the Administrator of Gershom by deed dated October fourteen in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourty eight

On July 21, 1835 Austin Brigham Cordwainer in consideration of $29.58 paid to him by Manson & Bigelow Traders grant and convey the following property, to wit

On April 7, 1841 James Farwell Yeoman in consideration of $850.00 paid to him by William Morse grant and convey the following described goods and chattles

FAY
On November 28, 1851 Hiram Fay Carpenter in consideration of $275.00 paid to him by Sylvester Bucklin grant and convey the following personal property to wit
1 bay horse called "Charlie", 1 bay horse called "Billy", 4 harness, 1 lumber wagon, 1 pleasure wagon, 1 top buggy, 1 set transverse sleigh runners, 1 sleigh, 1 planning machine, 1 tennon machine, 1 matching machine, 1 turning lath, 4 circular saws, all the lumber and timber at the new house now building for said Bucklin in said Marlborough, 8M feet hemlock board now at the Rail Road Station in Feltonville 1 horse power machine with all the drums, shafting and belting belonging to the same and now in my shop in said Marlborough
GLEASON
On June 26, 1852 George Gleason Shoe Manufacturer in consideration of $80.00 paid to him by John Bullard grant and convey the following personal property to wit
12 cane seat chairs, 1 sofa, 1 table, 1 clock, 1 stove, 1 cook stove, 7 chairs, 2 kitchen tables, 2 feather beds, 2 mattresses, 4 bedsteads, 1 toilet table, 1 bureau 2 carpets also crockery and glass ware that he now has, and bed cloths for beds and all and everything of his household furniture which is to numerous to mention also 2 single shoe benches and 1 double bench 1 clock in shop also all his shop tools of every name and nature which is now in the said J. H. Bullard shop.
HAPGOOD
On November 26, 1835 Moses Hapgood Husbandman in consideration for $100.00 paid to him by Reuben Hapgood Yeoman grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
1 pair of oxen, 1 colt and 2 cows now in the possession of said Moses
On January 27, 1835 Thomas Hapgood Yeoman in consideration of $15.00 paid to him by L & L Bigelow Traders grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
all the hay belonging to him in the barn on the farm where I dwell valued at twenty dollars.
On February 24, 1851 Asa Hapgood Yeoman in consideration of $264.00 paid to him by Charles Manning of Boston Merchant grant and convey the following described goods, to wit
one horse, 1 young brindle cow, 1 one horned cow, 1 white faced black cow, 1 small red cow, 1 red Heifer, 4 calves, 1 pig, 2 wagons, 1 cart, 1 harrow, 2 ploughs, all the furniture and implehimnts in the barn, two beds, 8 pillows, 3 bedsteads, 6 silver tea spoons, 2 doz. Chairs, 1 bass viola, 1 bureau, 1 light stand and 1 card table.

On January 4, 1840 Richard Hemenway Yeoman in consideration of $65.00 paid to him by Benjamin Clark Yeoman grant and convey the following

OAKS
On the November 25, 1834 Gardner Oaks Laborour in consideration of $41.92 paid to him by Levi Bigelow and Lambert Bigelow Traders and Abraham Howe Jr. Yeoman grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
1 pair of red oxen six years old
On May 27, 1842 Albert Oaks Laborour in consideration of $15.00 paid to him by Samuel B. Maynard tgrant and convey the following described goods

PARMENTER
On May 16, 1835 Micah Parmenter in consideration of $26.68 paid to him by James Ball of Northborough grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
a barn forty feet in length and thirty two feet wide situated near the school house in the east school District upon land owned by Amory Parmenter
On December 13, 1837 Micha Parmenter Yeoman in consideration of $200.00 paid to him by Malinda Parmenter Single Woman grant and convey the following described property, to wit
1 horse and 1 horse wagon and tackling for or belonging to the same
On March 28, 1838 Mary Parmenter in consideration of $21.20 paid to her by Wheeler & Stone Traders grant and convey the following described goods, to wit
1 dark brown cow valued at $35 now in her possession
On October 27, 1835 Micha Parmenter Yeoman in consideration of $75.00 paid to him by Abner Gay of Hubbardston Yeoman grant and convey the following

RICE
On June 21, 1834 George Rice Baker alias Yeoman in consideration of $20.00 paid to him by Benjamin P. Rice Baker alias Yeoman grant and convey rights, titles and claims to Pews No.'s 12 & 15 on the lower floor of the West Meeting House in Marlborough and also Pews No. 5 & 6 in the Gallery of the same Meeting House they being the same Pews which my father Benjamin Rice Esquire - died seized and possessed if I bring one of seven heirs to said Pews.
On May 30, 1834 Nathan Rice Husbandman in consideration for $135.00 paid to him by Charles Rice of Charlestown Distiller grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
1 horse dapple gray seven years or eight years old, 1 light wagon for one horse light green colour, 1 harness, 1 hay rigging, 1 cow of a yellow colour, 1 bed with high posts; which said property is now in my possession.
On May 20, 1836 Harvey Rice in consideration of $22.50 paid to him by Jaber S. Witherbee grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
1 dark red cow five years old
On January 11, 1836 Benjamin P. Rice Yeoman in consideration of $30.00 paid to him by Lewis Bigelow Yeoman in consideration of $35.00 paid to him by Lewin Bigelow Yeoman grant and convey the rights to 2 undivided seventh parts of the following Pews situated in the West Meeting House to wit Pew No. 12, Pew No. 15, Pew No. 58 and also one seventh part of Pew No 64, said Pew No 12 subject to an encumbrance, Susanna Rice has a right to sit in said Pew during her life
On September 30, 1839 Nathan Rice laborour in consideration of $50.00 paid to him by Charles Rice of Northborough Yeoman grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
all the hay and Rowen on the scaffold in the barn of which I now occupy, also my feather bed, under bed cloths, bedstead and cord, also all the corn standing on the farm which I now occupy.
On June 6, 1846 George Rice Baker in consideration of $10.00 paid to him by Lambert Bigelow & Co. Traders grant and convey the following described goods and chattels, viz
1 cooking stove, 1 set cane seat chairs with rocking chair, 1/2 doz common chairs, 2 tables, 1 light stand, 2 looking glasses, 1 woolen carpet now in my front room, and all of my crockery, glass and wooden ware now in my possession.
On April 19, 1853 Jonathan Rice Yeoman in consideration of $25.00 paid to him by Elbridge Howe Carpenter grant and convey the following , one undivided half of a Pew, numbered 39, situated in the Second Parish Himeting House in said Marlborough
On April 30, 1853 Lucas H. Rice in consideration of $160.00 paid to him by Luther M. Rice grant and convey the following
1 black stud horse, 1 gray mare, 1 pair of brass mounted harnesses, 1 red buggy wagon.
WILLIAMS
On September 24, 1836 George Williams Laborour in consideration of $14.00 paid to him by Levi Bigelow and Lambert Bigelow Traders grant and convey the following personal property, to wit
1 bureau valued at $10, 1 desk valued at $6, 2 beds and bedding valued at $12, 2 coverlets valued at $12, 6 wooden chairs valued at $3, 1 dinning table valued at #3, 1 tea table valued at $2 and 2 swine valued at $5.
On August 19, 1841 George Williams Yeoman in consideration of $80.00 paid to him by Ira Temple Yeoman grant and convey the following described personal property, to wit
1 small building situated on a tract of land owned by said Ira Temple nearby opposite the house of William Duton together with the contents consisting of lumber such as boards, joists and planks, valued $40, 2 lots of manure in the hog and cow yard valued $5, 2 lots of square and round timber valued $7, 1 bay horse valued $10, 30 (?) of meadow hay valued $8 and the wood fence that surrounds the described tract of land valued $10
