HELSTON HISTORY
PORTHLEVEN `POSTCARDS`
During the early part of the 20th Century only professional photographers, such as A.H.HAWKE and FRITH, had access to a camera. These early pioneers set about producing postcards to sell to the general public as a commercial enterprise.
Unbeknown to these pioneers they were leaving behind a legacy of historical images.
