Morris died January 21, 1916, at Leopld [sic?], Indiana.  Age at death -  92 years.  Sex  - male.    Color - white.  Widowed.  Primary cause of death given was LaGrippe.  Signed  William Lomax, Bristow, Indiana  (physician or coroner).  Place of burial  Rhodes Cemetery, Bristow, RR.  Date of burial - no date given.  Funeral director - none.  Signed Robert G. On the back the health department had  typed: “Date of birth April 26, 1823, widowed, Wife's name was Margaret Ann, name of father was Henry Gusler, father was born in Georgetown, D.C.; mother's name was Mary Kinkade.  He was born in Ohio."
