Lewisville, Ohio formerly of Harriettsville, Ohio
August 10, 1915, at his home. He was born near Harriettsville
August 10, 1915, a son of the late Leo John and Christine
Ann Singer Huffman.
He was a retired school teacher in the former

Gilbert, and Carl Huffman; two sisters, Kathryn Seebach
and Pauline Kohler.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene Zwick,
whom he married May 27, 1940; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Dupoy of Route 1, Beverly, Ohio and Mrs. Steven (Chriss) Baker of Route 3, Woodsfield; four sons, Larry
Huffman of Route 2, Marietta, Ohio, Robert Huffman of Route 2, Lowell, Ohio, Reverend
David Huffman of Steubenville, Ohio, and Mark Huffman of Route 1, Graysville,
Ohio; one sister, Mrs. James (Mildred) Kessler, of Ewington;
one brother, John Huffman of Harriettsville; 22
grandchildren.

the Ohio State Noble County Retired Teachers Association.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Allen and two
sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Stevens Stallings; a daughter,
Cynthia Stallings at home; two sisters, Edith Bishop of Caldwell and Lulu
McDonald of Grove City, Ohio.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22nd , with the Reverend Bill Pickenpaugh

and Tekla Laurence in 1897.

Hills Mortuary, in Sunnyside at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 31, at 1

FORMER PUBLIC OFFICIAL IS DEAD
P. Lee Fetty, former member of the
Wetzel County Board of Education and former city councilman in New
Martinsville, died Thursday in the New Martinsville Health Care Center. He was 75.
A resident of Pine Grove, he was born
Jan. 21, 1915 in Chisel Finger Ridge, Wetzel County.
Fetty was a member of the Board of
Education for 12 years, serving from 1956-68, and was a member of New
Martinsville City Council from 1948-50.
He was a retired construction worker for Laborers Local Union 1149,
Wheeling, where he was a business agent from 1958-60, and served on the Civil
Service Commission in New Martinsville from 1984-86.
He was a member of the Church of God,
Minnie, W.Va., and was a member of the I.O.O.F. of New Martinsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife,
Imogene Staley Fetty, on Aug. 23, 1985.
Surviving are a son, Wayne L. of New Martinsville; a daughter, Mrs.
Howard Cork of Pine Grove; a half-brother, Harold Powell of New Martinsville, a
half-sister, Anna Belle Powell of New Martinsville; three grandchildren.
