The daughter of Roland and Nancy Wilson Danford, she was born June 10, 1876, in

Ruby leaves a foster daughter, Mrs. Manley Hayes of near Salesville;
two foster grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Stella Groves of near Salesville, Mrs. Blanche Stallings of Old Washington, Mrs. Duice Stallings of near Salesville
and Mrs. Mary Britton of near Senecaville. A brother
and sister are deceased.

is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a
brother, Roy Kinkade of Mabton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the
Chapel of Walter C. Ball & Son in Sunnyside. The Rev. H. Leslie Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Sunnyside.

BEALLSVILLE - Calvin N. Mellott, 84, of Beallsville Route 2, died at 3 p.m.
Saturday at his home. A retired farmer, he was born near Beallsville Dec. 11,
1878, a son of Benjamin Franklin and Lualla Miller Mellott.
He was a member of the Methodist
Church, 50-year member of Sunsbury Lodge 362, F. and
A.M., and for 30 years its secretary, was a member of the Eastern Star, served
for 20 years on the Monroe County School Board and also at one time was a
member of the Beallsville District School Board.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
Mary Jeffers Mellott; two daughters, Miss Marie Mellott of

March 23, 1947 and leaves four children, namely Mrs. Pearl Brown of
Barnesville, Mrs. Faye James of Akron, Blanchard Denny and Paul J. Denny, both
of Beaver Dam, Ind.
Mrs. Denny was the
daughter of the Mr. and Mrs. William Carpenter and was born Dec. 11, 1874 at Temperanceville.
