Karen Kay Seaton, 54, of Sioux Falls passed away April 23, 1995 at McKennan Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aprl 26, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Miller, with burial in St. Ann's Cemetery.
Kary Kay Horn was born May 22, 1940, the daughter of Harold and Helen (Christiansen)
Horn, at Huron. She grew up in the St. Lawrence and Miller area, graduating from Miller
High School in 1958. Karen was employed for several years by Habichts Department Store and Chipman Implement.
On June 20, 1964, she was united in marriage to Harvey Seaton at Miller. They farmed
around the Miller area until 1978, when they started a trucking business and moved to
Sioux Falls with this enterprise in 1984.
Karen was an avid bowler, participating in the State Tournament for many years. She
enjoyed pool tournaments, sewing and ceramics. Karen also liked to spend time fishing, and had a special love of time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Lynn, in October of 1975. Also preceding her was her father, Harold, April 20, 1991 and mother, Helen, June 22, 1992, both of whom are buried in Miller GAR cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey; a daughter, Michele Lee; two brothers, Larry and his wife, Brenda Horn, Rapid City, Gene and his wife Violet Horn, Ewing, Nebraska; and one sister Judith and her husband, Neil Davis, Yakima, Washington.
