Nadine K. Robinson, 88, of Miller died Wednesday, May 10, 1995 at the Huron Regional
Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 13 at the First United Methodist Church, Miller, with Rev. Ann Louise Weisenfluh and Rev. Beth Kelsey-Engelmann officiating.  Burial was in the GAR cemetery.

Nadine Kathryn Robinson was born March 8, 1907 at Boone, Iowa, the daughter of CHarles and Mary (Vogler) Jennings. She graduated from Boone High School and taught elementary school prior to her marriage to Paul James Robinson of West Bend, Iowa on May 2, 1931.

In 1943 they moved from their Bradgate, Iowa farm to Miller.  During World War II Nadine
worked in the office of the Miller Livestock Auction Company.

Nadine was a substitute teacher in the Miller Schools.  She was an organizer of the Miller
High School Music Parents, which together with the Miller City Commission initiated the
tradition of providing entertainment for school children at Halloween.

The the Miller Armory was built, she chaired a committee of church representatives who
planned and equipped the kitchen.

Nadine was a member of the United Methodist Church of Miller.  She taught Sunday
School for many years and through the years chaired many dinners and bazaars for the
WSCS, now known as the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, a granddaughter, Carol Robinson, and her sister, Margaret Howard.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Margaret) Rowen of Lawrence,
Kansas, and a son, Dean Robinson and wife, Dona of Indianapolis, Indiana;  five
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ted Jennings and wife Polly of Miller, and Clayton Jennings and wife Carol of Highmore.
