Richard  Charles Loghry, 75, Mitchell died (enroute to Mitchell) Thursday, April 7, 1983 in
Shamrock, Texas.  He had spent the winter in California.

He was
born November 21, 1907 at Wolsey, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Loghry.  He
married Eleanor Cross November 5, 1931 at St. Lawrence.

He barbered for Clint Cole in St. Lawrence in the early 1930's and later with Adolph Engelcke
in Miller and in Mitchell and Storla.

He moved with his family to California in 1950 where he worked at the Alameda Naval Air
Station.  He retired in 1971 and moved to Mitchell in 1980.

He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

He is
survived by his wife *two sons, Rev. James Loghry, North Scituate, RI, Phillip W.
Loghry, Castro Valley, CA; 
one sister, Mrs. Charles Keller, Great Falls, MT and five
grandchildren.

He was
preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 11 at the Nazarene Church.
