Grace M. Johnson, 89, died Tuesday, November 6, 1984, at the Prairie Good Samaritan Home, Miller.
Grace May Yost was born April 19, 1895, in Clarion, Iowa, to Jurus and Mary Yost. As a
young child she moved her family to southern Hand County where she spent most of her
She married G.W. "Billy" Johnson, June 11, 1921, in Huron.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Graham, Wichita, Kansas; four sons, Mark, San Diego, California, Wallace and Clemment, Miller and Jerrold, Sacramento, California; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Betty Johnson, Kansas City, Missouri; 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Harold and twin infant
The funeral was Friday, November 9, 1984 at First Presbyterian Church, Miller with the Rev. Richard Lounsberry officiating. Burial was in the GAR Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matthew Johnson, Graig [*typo?] Johnson, Neal Johnson, Jim Petik,
Bruce Viau, Garner Sivertsen, Jerry Willert and Steve Johnson.
