Funeral services for Roland Freimark were held Saturday afternoon, March 12, 1966 at First  Methodist Church with the Rev. Holman Cowherd officiating.

Freimark, 69, had been a surgical patient at St. John's Hospital in Huron and had made a good recovery. He returned home Sunday and death,caused by a blood clot, came suddenly at his home Tuesday morning.

Intermenlt was in the GAR Cemetery. Miller. Active pallbearers were Howard Ross, Lane Stillwell, Warren Skinner, Wilbur Freimark, nephews; and Morris Droppers, Lloyd Gerlach. Honorary pallbearers were John Gerdes, James Magness, Gene Danburg, Nels Jacobsen, Julius Ufen, Albert Jones, AI Donlin, Alvie Haberling and Richard Froning.

Roland Karl Freimark was born June 7, 1896, at Hartley, Iowa, the fourth child of Julius and Ernestine Freimark. The family moved to South Dakota in 1906 settling at Midland,  and in 1911 they moved to St. Lawrence.

He was united in marriage April 20, 1916, to Opal Skinner of St. Lawrence. They were
the parents of one daughter and three sons. They lived for many years on a farm just north of Miller and later moved to a farm south of Miiller. Mr. and Mrs. Freimark retired and moved to MilIler in 1958.

In early life he became a church member. Upon moving to Miller he united with the First
Methodist: Church.

He is survived by his widow, Opal; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth (Delton) Roeber, Miller; three sons, Ronald and Ralph, Miller, and Russell, St. Lawrence; three grandchildren, Russell Roeber and Sharon and Carolyn Freimark; and one slister, Mrs. Hilda Stillwell, Sioux Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
