Leslie M. Croll, 78, of Miller, died Wednesday, July 24, 1985, at his home.
Leslie M. Croll was born January 31, 1907 in Hand County to Mr. and Mrs. L.B. (Minnie
Andrews) Croll. He lived all his life in Hand County.
He married Edith Steele April 28, 1945.
He worked many years at the Pantry Lunch, Johnson's Cafe, and he served at the State
Fair 4-H dormitory for over 30 years. He was a 4-H leader. He worked at sale barns, and for the past several years had worked for the Magness Sale Barn.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder, trustee and head usher.
He is survived by his wife of Miller, a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Kathryn) Stobbs of Perth,
Australia; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kathleen Croll of Pine Top, Arizona; five grandchildren, two brothers, Leland Croll of Miller and Dwight Croll of Overland Park,
Kansas; one sister, Geneva Croll of Brookings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alys Stensland.
The funeral was 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, Miller, with the Rev.
Richard Lounsbery officiating. Burial was in the GAR cemetery.
Pallbearers were Royce Blackburn, Ottis Jacobs, Eugene Moeller, Homer Creager, Rocky Oakley and Warren Skinner. Honorary pallbearers were all his friends.
