Roland O. Boldt, 82, of Miller died Friday, May 12, 1995 at Hand County Memorial Hospitalin Miller.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 16, at the First United Methodist Church in
Miller with the Ann Louise Weisenfluh officiating. Military rites were conducted by the
Miller VFW Post No. 3214.
Roland Owne Boldt was born September 1, 1912 at Miller to August and Margaret (Brown) Boldt. He attended school in Hand County. In the 1930's he worked at the Civilian Conservation Corps camp in Hot Springs. He joined the U.S. Army in June 1943 and served in Greenland. He was honorably discharge in September 1945. He was a
self-employed well driller.
He married Maxcine Hurlbut [SLHS 1938], December 28, 1938. She died February 10,
He married Bertha Moore, August 4, 1979. She died August 15, 1990.
He married Martina Christensen on March 15, 1991.
He is survived by his wife of Miller; two brothers, Cliff of Miller and Harlan of Battle Ground, Washington; one sister, Alice Biggerstaff of Huron; one half-sister, Ruby McCool of Dallas, Oregon; four step-children; seven grandchildren and two treat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two of his wives; one son, Ronald; his parents; three sisters and four brothers.
