Mary Beaner, 80, of Miller, died Friday, May 6, 1988, at the Hand County Memorial Hospital, Miller, South Dakota.
The Funeral Mass was 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Ann's Catholic Church, Miller, with the Rev. Donald Molumby officiating. Burial was in the St. Ann's Cemetery, Miller.
Mary Lambertz was born August 17, 1907, in Dolton, to Mr. and Mrs. John (Rose Kapperman) Lambertz.
She married Rupert Beaner April 4, 1925, in Dolton. They lived in the Miller area since their marriage. The past several years she was lived in the Miller Manor.
She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society.
She is survived by 10 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Eschenbaum, Miller, Mrs. Ray (Charlotte) Molander, Apple Valley, Minnesota, Mrs. Jack (Irene) Fanning, St. Lawrence, Mrs. Keith (Ramona) Snodgrass, Highmore, Sandra Bahr, Rapid City, Mrs. Lennis (Diann) Knight, Coaldale, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. Gary (Linda) Terbell, Wilcox, Arizona, Mary Choate, St. Mary's, Kansas, Ellen Bahr, Rapid City and Mrs. Al (Rita) Tibbitts, Hill City; five sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Joann Beaner, Fort Collins, Colorado, Lloyd and Muriel Beaner, St. Louis, Missouri, James and Sharon Beaner, Anacortes, Washington, Richard and Nina Beaner, Hobbs, New Mexico, and Charles and Judy Beaner, St. Lawrence; 67 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, four sisters, Mrs. Leo (Ida) Beaner, Humboldt, Mrs. Don (Janette) McBrayer, Ethan, Mrs. Charles (Cleo) Galtz, Marietta, Georgia and Mrs. Elmer (Verda) Hofer, Bridgewater; five brothers, Aldred, Windsor, California, Orville, Canistota, Oral, Sioux Falls, Edwin, Emory and Edward, Santa Rosa, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Donald (Jan. 5, 1983), two sisters, Helen and Eva, one brother, Harold, six grandsons and two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dennis Weaver, John Fanning, Mark and Daniel Beaner, Jim Eschenbaum and Barry Snodgrass.
Honary pallbearers were all her grandsons.
