Paul Abbott, 60, Webster died October 25, 1982 at Day County Hospital.
Paul LaVerne Abbott was born August 21, 1922 at St. Lawrence, South Dakota, the son of Frank and Maude (King) Abbott. He attended school in St. Lawrence and Miller, graduating in 1940.
He married Ardis Paulson October 6, 1942 in Seattle, Washington.
During World War II he served in the European Theatre.
He had been employed in the service department of Northwestern Public Service Company since 1946.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Shrine, Masons and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Ardis; one daughter, Paula Lee Sanchez, Webster; three brothers, Earl, Hoodsport, Washington, Frank, Springfield, Missouri, and John, Manteca, Calfiornia; three sisters; Mrs. Bob (Bertha) Fields and Mrs. Paul (Pearl) Fellers, both of Everett, Washington, and Mrs. LeRoy (Frances) Darling, Manteca, California; one granddaughter, Nicole Merie Sanchez, Webster and many
nieces and nephews.
He was preced in death by his parents, two sisters, Hazel (Mrs. Herbert) Vitters, and an infant sister, and one brother, Albert.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 29, 1982 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Webster with the Rev. LeeRoy Eilanger, Lead officiating. Military interment by the National Guard was in the Webster Cemetery. Arrangements were by Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster.
