Carrie Robideau, 98, of Faulkton, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the Faulkton
Funeral services were held March 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orient, with the
Rev. Randy Phillips officiating.
Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Carrie Aesoph was born December 25, 1905, to George and Rose (Ellis) Aesoph in
Tennis. She grew up on a farm straight west of Orient, now the Robert Aesoph farm. She
attended the Weiss country school. She worked for a cafe in Redfield.
She married A.T. Robideau in Aberdeen, November 20, 1935.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orient, Catholic Daughters, and St.
Joseph Altar Society.
November 1998, she entered the Assisted Living in Faulkton and later entered the Faulkton Healthcare Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Carol (Bobby) Potts of Gettysburg; two sons,
Dean (Joann) of Mitchell and Gene (Linda) of Madelia, Minn.; a sister, Grace Evans of
Lake Norden; a brother, Henry (Bonnie) Aesoph of Milbank; 13 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sons, Duane, Wayne and Bill; four sisters, Luella, Mary, Kathryn and Rosie; and three brothers, George, Leo and
