Adorah Danielle Kaylena Montgomery, 15-month-old daughter of Alex and Karyn (Fry) Montgomery, Canistota, died Thursday, August 19, 2004 at Sioux Valley Hospital as a result of E-coli bacteria/Extreme HUS.
Funeral services were held August 21 at Zion Lutheran Church in Canistota, with interment at Canistota Cemetery.
Adorah was born on May 14, 2003, in Sioux Falls. Adorah was given the nickname "Dodah Bugs" by her brother, Reagan. She was a very happy and strong-willed little girl, who loved to play with her older brother, Reagan and her cousins. She loved to read books, watch the Wiggles and had a special music box that she loved to play with. Adorah was a "daddy's girl," just like her mother.
Grateful for having shared her life are her parents, Alex and Karyn, and her brother, Reagan, of Canistota; great-great-grandmother, Erin Davis, San Diego, Calif.; great-grandmother, Mary McCartney, St. Lawrence; grandparents, Gerald and Doreen Fry, Sioux Falls; grandmother, Susan Montgomery, San Diego, Calif.; grandfather, David Montgomery, San Diego, Calif.; four aunts and five uncles; 10 cousins; two great-great-uncles and two great-great-aunts; four great-uncles; and numerous other relatives.
