Mrs. Don (Myrna) Frohoff, age 67, of Wolsey, SD, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Sioux Valley Hospital at Sioux Falls.
Her funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at the Welter Funeral Home with Pastor Jan Price officiating. Burial was at Altoona Cemetery, rural Hitchcock. Casket Bearers were Jack Marshall, Donald Houck, Stuart Adermann, Lynn Bartells, John Crandall, and Dennis Eggleston.
Myrna Grace Woodard was born November 5, 1936, to Guy and Vera (Marshall) Woodard at Huron. She received her education in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in 1954.
In 1955, Myrna married Ed Jackson. In 1958 they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. area where they lived for 14 years. Myrna returned to Huron in February of 1972.
On April 16, 1972, Myrna married Don Frohoff at Redfield. Over the years she worked at Raven Industries, Walker Flower Shop, Sundance Liquor, Jack & Jill, Wrapit, MidCom, Job Service, and presently was a loan officer for DeLay Check Loans.
In addition to being with her family and especially her grandchildren, her many interests included flower gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and attending rummage sales.
She is survived by her husband, Don of Wolsey; two sons, Guy Jackson of Camdenton, Mo., and Steven (Kay) Frohoff of Pierre; three daughters, Sharon (Stephen) Dodson of Macks Creek, Mo., Veda Obermann of Huron and Barbara (Alan) Quiram of Huron; one step-son, Gene (Regina) Frohoff of Stoutland, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and many beloved aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Ann Jackson Dodson; and an infant sister.
