Another short chapter, I'm disposing of Allegonda Boom / Hall's son Bryan Hall before turning to her other surviving son William. Bryan Hall didn't marry and the Family Register doesn't list any children, but he had at least three children of whom I know little. Two are:
James Bryan Hall bap. 21 Nov (or Sep) 1800 in Port Royal, born to Bryan Hall & Teresa Silburn
Sarah Hall b. 20 Aug 1803, bap. 10 Aug 1804 in Kingston, born to Bryan Hall and Theresa Silburn, a free quadroon.
And yes, you have heard the surname Silburn before; John Hall junior had a mixed race partner named Anne (or Ann) Silburn.
Pat Wyatt quotes Bryan Hall's will, which states in part: "£800 Jamaican currency to my househeeper, Teresa Silburn; to my reputed son, James Bryan Hall £1,500 Jamaican currency at age sixteen, and to my reputed son Robert Hall, the same".
So Teresa Silburn was more than just Brian's "housekeeper".
