The Mallard father was Jonathan. Two of his children married two of the children of Allegonda and John Hall on the same day, a double marriage.
The Family Register says that Jonathan Mallard was born at Shrewsbury in the County of Salop (modern day Shropshire). A quick search through the IGI reveals that the name Jonathan Mallard is intimately associated with that particular town, but none of the contenders were born at the right time. Grrr. However, I did find the burial of a John Mallard, merchant, in Kingston 8 Jan 1756; perhaps he was Jonathan's father.
Anyway, on Jamaica the Mallard name is very rare so is easy to track.

So it appears that Jonathan and Margaret had at least six daughters and no sons. The birth of Margaret Mallard comes from the Family Register. I didn't find her baptism in the Parish Registers. The Parish Register entry for Elizabeth's baptism even gives the time of birth; 1/2 past 8 a.m.
The Kingston Parish Register entry (Folio 140) for the double marriage is as follows:
"John Hall Junior of the parish of Saint Andrew Esquire & Sarah Mallard of the parish of Kingston Spinster were Married the 9th March 1793
Richard Hall of the parish of Saint Andrew Esquire & Margaret Mallard of the parish of Kingston, Spinster were married the 9th march 1793".
The two couples then had child after child.
In the notes below I've accepted the Family Register for birth & death dates and the Parish Register for baptism & burial dates. Only baptism & burial places are given, for birth & death places see the Family Register.

The Kingston Parish Register has a totally different name for the second Mary Ann. It has:
Eliza Catherine b. 8 May 1806.
Note again the high death rate, Margaret Mallard / Hall had 10 children before dying at the age of 38.
There is heaps more information about all of the above children in the Family Register, including godparents, ministers, and often time of birth (to the nearest half hour). Parish registers also contain baptism dates for most of them and burial dates for many.
At this point I'd just like to add that Jonathan Mallard, his wife Margaret, and daughters Elizabeth and Ann turn up as godparents, as well as Mary Mallard (in 1800) who may be another daughter.
Now I'll turn to some information that is not in the Family Register. John Hall junior had at least two mixed race children before his marriage to Sarah Mallard. His partner was Anne (or Ann) Silburn, a free mulatto. Their children were:
Dorothy Hall b. 5 May 1790, bap. 26 Jun 1790 St Andrew
Frances Hall b. 1 Feb 1792, bap. 21 Jul 1792 St Andrew
Also absent from the Family Register is Richard Hall's second marriage to Alegonda Hall Edwards in St Andrew on 20 Feb 1815. And, as I said before, Allegonda was a very rare name on Jamaica. This problem was discussed in the earlier section about John Hall senior.
I've found three children for Richard Hall and Alegonda in the St Andrew Parish Register. Pat Wyatt's book says that there were seven born within ten years. These are:
Bryan Hall
Maurie Hall
George Hall b. 30 Jan 1819, bap. 12 May 1819 St Andrew
Louisa Hall b. 20 Dec 1820, bap. 28 Mar 1821 St Andrew
Elizabeth Edwards Hall b. 1 Feb 1823, bap. 31 Dec 1823 St Andrew
Edward Hall
Allegonda Hall
I've also found some possible children for John Herman Hall son of John and Sarah. The situation is complicated by the presence of another John Herman Hall (son of William and Dorothy) at the same time, and also because there's an unrelated H J Hall around.
John Herman Hall b. 1 Dec 1796, bap. 2 Mar 1797 St Andrew, d. 8 Dec 1832
quadroon partner Cecilia Eliza French
Charlotte Cecelia Hall b. 19 Jan 1819, bap. 8 Nov 1819
Bryan Crompton Hall b. 13 Jun 1821, bap. 4 Apr 1824
Daniel Dickson Hall b. 21 Mar 1825, bap. 24 Jun 1825
m. 17 Oct 1829 Allegonda Hall (widow)
Sarah Margaret Hall b. 13 Apr 1833, bap. 20 Aug 1833
Sarah Margaret was born posthumously. The christian names Charlotte, Crompton, Daniel and Dickson are certainly not part of John Herman's ancestry. I'm not sure what to make of that. Allegonda was the widow of John Herman's uncle Richard. The christian names Sarah & Margaret come from the two Mallard sisters who married into the family.
Do you want the bad news? Of all the children mentioned in this chapter I have yet to find a single modern descendant.
CORRECTION! From information received from Donald Lindo, I now have a possible modern descendant of John Hall Jr’s quadroon daughter Frances. All the information is in the later chapter “Godparents” (a strange place for it, you may think, but the connection was found in a strange way).
All the information that I have on the children of Sarah Mallard / Hall stops at the second generation and of the children of Margaret Mallard / Hall, I only know of the descendants of William Bryan Hall and Mary Ann Hall / Gordon. William Bryan Hall plays a large role later in this report.
