This site has been a long time in coming to fruition, in the intervening time I have lost touch or have been unable to contact people I corresponded with regarding the setting up of this register. Some people contributed by sending me photographs, for the Jarawa and elephant pictures I am indebted to P Dady. I would have asked your permission individually to use your photos on this site but now ask your forgiveness if you wish them not to be used. Please contact me and I will remove them if that is what you want. Further if you have photos you would like included then please let me have them by email at babsiz@tiscali.co.uk

I rediscovered Bill, his name is actually Wilmot Belchambers by asking on Rootsweb India List. He is still a very spritely 90+ years old. He remembers the old days very well, but really didn't connect me with the little girl in the picture.
