Achievements :

Lieutenant Richard Percival Wigmore who served with the
Ceylon Rifle Regiment from 1847 to 1853. He settled in
Australia after this becoming
a policeman in
Western Victoria. He later died at Rushworth in
1882.He is also mentioned in the Royal
Commission into the capture of the Kelly gang as a Sergeant of Police.
