Marine Private William
Wall (....1789)
- William Wall enlisted in the
Royal marines as part of the 8th Plymouth Company. He
served as
- part of the convict guard on board
the ship "Friendship" prior to its departure from
England. Thomas sailed with the ship to Port Jackson and
arrived as part of the first Fleet.
- Following his arrival in Port
Jackson, William served in William Tench's company.
- William died on the1st April 1789,cause
unknown.
