    History & Achievements :

    Captain Waldron of Wollongong   bought land off a George Tata  in 1832 at Spring Hill in the Illlawarra District .  He was stated when he bought the land as being Captain Charles Waldron of the 39th Regiment of Foot

    Sydney Morning Herald Wednesday 23 June 1847 DIED At Wollongong, Illawarra, on the 19th instant, F.C. Waldron Esq, late of H.M. 30th Foot, eldest son of the late Captain Charles Waldron, H.M. 39th Regiment.
