    History & Achievements :
    Sergeant in the 96th Regiment.  Arrived in Western Australia in February 1847 with his wife M. Foster, and child.  Was stationed at Albany.   Was discharged from the army in May 1849 and was then employed as a clerk with the Perth district.  In May 1849 Mrs Vince and three children arrived from King George’s Sound per ‘Arpenteur’.
