& Achievements :
- Thomas Tynan enlisted as a Marine a member of the
58th Plymouth Company . He was stationed on board the
ship " Charlotte" and it was on this ship he
left England for Australia. Upon his arrival in Sydney he
served as member of Captain John Shea's Company . Thomas
was sent to Norfolk Island on the ship "Supply"
on the 4th of March 1790. Returning via " Suppy"
in 23 April 1791 . He recieved a grant of land at the
Field of Mars of 80 acres In 1802 he held 75 acres at
Concord . At various stages the grant decreased and
increased in size. Thomas was listed as a Labourer. When
he died he was recorded as a Superanuated Constable. Not
much more is known about him or if he had any children.
