    Article: 2962. Private George Trew, 22 years of age, 5 feet 7
    inches high, fair complexion, light hair, and grey eyes;
    a native of Witham, Essex, Laborer.
    Article: As can be seen  from the police notice, George Trew was a private in the 40th Regiment stationed at Sandhurst in December of 1855. His service number was 2962, and his usual occupation was that of a Laborer (before he joined the Regiment). He was a native of Witham, in Essex, and 22 years of age in 1855.
