- William Strong enlisted as a memeber of the 24th
Plymouth Company. He was stationed on board the ship
" Scarborough " and it was on this ship he left
England for Australia. Following his arrival he was
attatched to Watkin Tench's Company. Following his
discharge he left to seetle Norfolk Island on Board the
Ship " Atlantic " He recieved a grant at 60
acres . William returned to Port Jackson on board the
" Kitty" in Mach 1793 he recieved land grants
of 25 acres at York Place and 60 acres at Bankstown.
William may have enlisted in the Royal New South Wales
Regiment . He dissapeares from records .
