History
& Achievements :
- James Reiley enlisted as a member of the 58th
Plymouth Company. He was stationed on board the ship
" Scarborough" and it was on this ship he left
England for Australia. Upon his arrival in Sydney he
served as a member of Captain James Meredith's company, .
March of 1790 he was sent to Norfolk Island via the ship"
Sirius " he served on the island till his discharge.
Following discharge he recieved a grant of 45 acres at
Creswell .
