The Enrolled Guard was formed in November 1880 to   Guard for Government House, Perth, the Convict Prison, Fremantle and the Military Store), Fremantle. Soldiers for the Enrolled Guard were drawn from the former Enrolled Pensioner Force 1100 guards  made the journey to WA
