Diemans Land 26/8/1826 via the ship "
John Barry"
- Prior to his service with the Royal Veterans
company James served with the 42nd Foot Royal Highland
Black Watch . He fought Nepoleans Army's at several
battles and recieded the Militay General Service Medal
with 9 Clasps
