The name has been seen in both spelling. Discharged from
the 58th Regiment in New Zealand. Possibly of Irish
descent. Possibly came from Australia to New
Zealand.
Sarah Paget was "in service" and was brought to
New Zealand by the familyshe worked for. The head
of the house was "mistreating her" and she ran
away. She met Charles Osborne whilst on the run.
