    History & Achievements :

    Benjamin went on to India and waswounded at the Battle of Ferozersher on 21 dec 1845 (1st Sikh War). He
    lost an arm and was discharged, given land in Ireland as a pension. He was awarded the Sutlej Medal, Mudki reverse, Bar Ferozersher.
